Exercise...
It is the most important part of any weight-loss program.. It's the key to building a strong body, and keeping a strong mind.. It's soo critical.. and yet, soo easy to "skip" at times it seems..
So anyhow, I can't afford my fancy, amazing gym membership and personal trainer anymore.. Too bad.. I loved them.. I loved all they did.. I loved the accountability-factor.. But.. I just don't have the $200+ per month, now that I'm officially a stay-at-home mom... (At least while I was on maternity leave we could almost pretend we could afford it..)
Thanks to the wonders of facebook and google and the internet and all that wonderful stuff, I've discovered bodyrock.tv and have been using them as my basics.. And I'll admit it, I'm still really sucky at this 5 days a week exercise thing.. I'm lucky to make 3.. But, every journey starts with a single step.. So rather than beating myself up for missing a workout, I'm celebrating the days I do work-out.. (And no, I don't mean with a can of pop or a chocolate doughnut, but thanks for asking! ;) )
I know from past experience that this is definitely one of those hurdles that gets easier.. Exercise is like volunteering... The more you do, the more you want to do.. So.. I'm on step one.. I'm getting those first few regular workouts in.. I know that once they become routine, adding more is going to happen naturally.. ;)
